Roasted Shallot with Cheese & Garlic Bread Recipe
This roasted shallot with cheese and garlic bread is crispy on the outside, soft and buttery on the inside, and loaded with sweet caramelized shallots, melted cheese, and rich garlic flavor. Perfect as a side dish, appetizer, or party snack!

- 1 large French baguette (or Italian bread loaf)
- 4–5 shallots, thinly sliced
- 4 tablespoons butter (softened)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme (optional)
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Step 1: Roast the Shallots
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Toss sliced shallots with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread on a baking sheet and roast for 20–25 minutes, stirring halfway, until soft and caramelized.

Step 3: Prepare the Bread
Slice the baguette in half lengthwise. Spread garlic butter evenly on both halves.
